Ford escort mk4 xr3i colours
A friend of mine required to re-shell and re-spray a mk4 ford escort xr3i 1988 to a standard ford colour. What colours did ford use for all mk4 escorts? What website can i get this information from on specs.?

mk4 XR3is only came in radiant red, mercury grey, schwarz black or diamond white. black are the rarest
xr3i cabriolets however were available in a much bigger range of colours

I often seen black xr3is. Were these rare in a particular year? I had a black 1986 mk4 model a few years ago. How many was made in all the above colours?
