Could anyone help me with the hub pullers to purchase to be able to remove the 5th Gear on a CVH gearbox?

It's the gear that you have to remove, before the outer casting can be lifted off to reveal the entire gearbox?

I've tried my hub pullers, as well as m8's ones, but still too big!

Any help would be top notch.

 

Anyone???

I've tried my smallest ones, but they can't get into the back of the gear (I'm using the 2 & 3 legged spider ones)

Thats the puller i have, virtully impossible to get 5th off without it.

You could have borrowed mine if you had been closer,

 

Take the box down to your local ford and ask to borrow it for 5 mins

 

where are you based i have ford tool .

 

also ive been told the 5th gear is heat shrunk on !

so it don't hurt to warm it up either!
