I've got a real stupid question but is quite important and need answer asap I trying to reshell mi FRST but I cant afford a new shell.

And I just came across a fiesta j reg 1.117cc in exelent condition and not rust at all (not even by the petrol cap) and 35.000 on the clock

And I was wondering are the mounts from this car the same as in mine?(1.6frst,cvh)

Please let me know before I do something stupid

 

everything from your car will fit on this car

 

oh, you will need to use the engine mounts from your FRST

 

the only thing with using a 1.1 shell is that it will have a petrol flap and your rst would of had a petrol cap its minor but i just thought i would let you know. also iirc you will have to use the rs turbo petrol tank and fuel lines good luck with the reshell and get a resto thread going

 

thats correct, you will need to use the rst tank and lines, but if you are going to reshell the rs then im sure you will be using everything from the rst. dont forget the brakes , suspension etc as the 1.1's setup isnt up for the job
