am off to get a maff at the weekend and was wondering if there is anything i should look for numbers etc mine is for a 1.6 escort

 

mass air flow sensor for your escort is pretty much universal mate. for the zetec anyhow.

part number will be the same asumeing you are buying from ford? i have a feelin they are about 70 quid, dont quote me tho i have never bought one from ford, ive gone for the 10 quid scrappy option, never fails lol
