Default management. help please

hi just want your views.ive just bought megasquirt v2.2 for my s1 turbo,and now have come across a l8 ecu and full wiring loom. the ecu has a stage 1 chip just want to know which is the best one to use cheers

Again, the v2.2 and v3.0 are just the circuit board revisions. Identical software and capabilities on both. Both are still MS-I if they use the MS-I prosessor and both can also be MS-II if a MS-II prosessor upgrade has been done.

Yes but the v3 is improved over the v2.2,
for example "There is new circuitry incorporated which protect the injector drivers from short circuits"
only going by what i read here http://www.megasquirt.info/ms2/pcb.htm
surely it's got to be better?
but anyway this isn't helping Newton, i think he has his answer

go for megasquirt mate
maybey nat as big resolution as p8 but still easy mapping and loads of help to get it done
i am on my 4th megasquirt install now and use 1 for running engines up in garage no probs what so ever 100% dont car wt any 1 says

i would go for L8 because it's proven reliable technology and can be easily mapped by pro's who have a lot of experience with it (e.g. NMS, Motorsport Developments etc)

all the topics about management recently on here id say that the megasquirt would be the one to go for as the l8 comes into its own on a cossie in the right hands but if you want to learn abit of tuning or are already got a idea how tomap it then megasquirt is the way to go also to the point where its closed loop without exspensive upgrades and the add ons to like wi nos control wich are right there ready to go

what injectors should i use for this system

do a search for fiveomotorsport they list of injectors and sizing charts but i think stu does a 62lb injector that wll be more than ample for the job
