Default Lower lag than a T34 .48...?

Can somebody help me with my cossies turbo lag, I want the power as lag free as a std T3 if not better but with the power of my current T34 with .48 ex housing, If i change the ex housing to a .63 I know I could see 400+bhp from the same unit SO;
spec;
2wd YB engine
Std compression
4x803 green injectors
4x4 I/cooler

I Want a turbo with less lag than standard, that will give me a good 350 lagless bhp, with the option of changing the ex housing for a larger one perhaps when/if I go lower compression ratio, any ideas?

I have heard good things of GT series turbos, I would go external wastegate too if that helps too?

Ideas on a postcard, names of people to speak to ( I think I already know this will involve Brummies )

If you change 0.48 to 0.63 ex housing you will get better ex flow and increase power but lag too.Lower compression will reduce engine response.If you are Std compression that means you have a chip mapped for std compression.The best way to minimize lag is to fit a Ball bearing Turbo you can go bigger turbo will the same or ever less lag than your T34.Ball Bearing turbos spin very fast.See them at www.turboneticsinc.com
I used a TS04 on stage 4 cossie low comp 4x403 with almost T34 lag and a 3 door
with 60-1/T3 Hi-fi with the same lag as a std T3 with impressive power .

Cheers rocar, i understand about the lag and the bigger ex housing thanks, just using it to illustrate a point. So could you have changed the ex. housing on your 60-1/T3 hi-fi for even more power but more lag, what power did you see with that set up in BHP.I like the sound of that turbo the 60-1/T3 hi-fi. All of Turbonetics turbos are external wastegates i take it, which one did you use? They look fantastic! CheeRs for your help rocar!!!

The 60-1/T3 Hi-fi can be used with intenal wastegate too.Unfortunately we do not have a dyno so we do not know the exact power but its good for up to 650bhp.I have another one ordered for a 600bhp 2.3lt Mitsibushi Evo 4 .If you like I can give you the compressor wheel,Turbine wheel sizes and part numbers.
About the ex housing I use 0.63 A/R
