s2 rs turbo lowering springs
ok, i have a s2 rs turbo, built up using a 1.3 popular shell
currently running s2 rs turbo koni adjustables and unknown springs, all i kno is they are low, probs around 60mm. basically the springs have seen better days so i want new
my issue is, i want 60mm drop springs, but they quote different springs for the rs and the base spec models. which shud i buy as the shell is base spec but the shocks are rs turbo? mite b a simple answer and common sense, but dnt want to mess this up
also, where can i get 60mm drop springs from?? im having trouble finding them
cheers

ok, as your car has RS turbo shocks then buy the lowering springs for the RS, there is no difference between the shell of an rs and a bread and b8utter model. as your car has been uprated to rs spec, then buy the springs for that.
as the rs sits about 20mm lower than the standard escort, then a 60mm drop is a bit more radical, making it harder to find springs that will provide such a drop.
genarally a 40mm drop will give you a better stance and handling, without having your wheels rubbing off the arches. and is about all you will find.
