Default electrical problem

i have a new shape ford focus on a 05 plate which is damaged repaired. my speedometer doesnt work and a few of the lights are on but my rev counter works anyone no the problem also i was thinking to go down ford dealers and get it sorted but i dont know if they check hpi.

Have you tried the usual earth and short fault finding???

I had this when one of my relays died and it interrupted power to dash and had ABS and airbag lights on.

Also had this when my alternator died just before I broke down.

Worth seeing if you can get some wiring diagrams to see if it goes back to the same power source. Should also have fault codes read as it might give you a few hints.
