Considering fitting coilovers on my Mk1 sierra 3dr (not cosworth). Do rear shock absorber turrets need strenghthening. Cheers.

 

Ive never seen one split but heard of a mate of a mate whos mate had one split etc etc. A rear Strut brace will help spread the load across the two turrets, or welding a washer each side of the bolt holes to strengthen the eyelets should make it bomb proof if you do both the above
