Default fookin heaters!!!

hiya i have a 1990 for escort mk4 estate/van and the heaters in my car have randomly stopped working? has this happened to any1 else before or does any1 have any idea wat ois rong???

i have no fan at all so nothin is cumming through did work then it randomly stopped goin go av a look at it????

Does it work on the fastest speed? If it does this and wont work on speed 1 or 2 then the resistor pack on the motor has gone.

Other wise, check the fuse firstly, if thats ok its either guna be the switch or the motor itself. Shouldnt cause yout oo much headache they're very simple

also apret from the fan does any1 know how to remove the front wings as i want sum new1s for wem it goes in for a respray???

Thats a nightmare job. They're spot welded on down the tops of the wings, and theres also 2 bits welded by the door hinges. They look shit if you don't spot weld the new ones on IMO, a lot of people drill holes in them and mig weld through it.

it's probably a faulty fuse box,a dry joint ,very common fault mine's the same have run a fused feed from the ignition switch

Are you talking MK5/MK6 fuse boxes, MK4 fuse boxes dont have any solder joints and are pretty reliable.
