oil
i used castrol rs but found it made my engine noisy.
i see u are using greys what fuel pressure do u have i was told 3psi but not sure i found when i was on boost in first gear then change to second and it was like it was running out of fuel so u had to wait a minuite for it to run back smoothly so i have bougt anew fuel pressure reg with gauge on it so i could see the pressure .it has a brand new 044 pump.......any ideas ?????

Wrong, wrong wrong!
5w-40 unless oil temps are excessive (above 120degC) then 10w-50

Most of the cossie specialists around the country many of who have raced these machine suggest to me mobil/castrol 15/50 or 20/60.
Much thicker than 5/40, due to the extreme temps in the turbo that would thin out lower rated oils too much??

Its just too thick when hot, nearly as thick as gear oil, this results in excess heat (friction) lower bhp (oil drag0 and ultimately more wear.

If you have very high temps you will need a 10w-50/15w-50.
The Castrol RS is mineral based and will shear down under hard use, a top quality ester/pao synthetic 5w-40/10w-50 will take more heat and punishment then a mineral based 10w-60.
