Default funny noise from the engine bay

i all need some help my dads got a v6 cougar and when he starts it up from cold and moves the steering it makes a loud whining noise which then goes by the time he leaves the street (100M) then occasionally it does it again when driving but its intermitten.

its only started after it was serviced and found to have a leak on the power steering pipe. the pipe was fixed and power steering fluid was topped up

the car also has a induction kit fitted and a de-cat

thanks

Hi Anodised
could it be moosing ? I had this problem on cold starts & the noise started when I moved the steering wheel, but the noise lasted for about 5 miles or until the engine warmed up !
I cured mine with the anti moosing pipe from ford......'HOSE-AIR' part number 1025296
Mine cost Ł31.75p & it's easy to fit

Hope it is moosing & it's nothing too serious
