rs2000/st170
anyone know whats involved in fitting a focus st170 dura-tec engine into mk6 escort rs4x4?? i would like to run it on bike carbs, any info welcome, thanks

Great site with loads of info on there. You can keep the rs2000 lump and use bike bodies.
Its been done loads with good results

Check the wiring to the coil packs as they ALL deteriorate and cause all sorts of running probs.
move the wires whilst its running and listen for a change. Quite often causes the car to run on 2 cyclinders. I'd consider replacing it either way as it will cause problems sooner or later.
