1990 Orion that wasnt going to be a build but now is

So purchased this little 1300 orion on a whim when passing it on a drive way, was MOT’d and used daily so thought it would be a nice little summer toy

Decided i didnt like the red strips and spoiler

Started to refurb an RS 4 spoke

few jobs needed doing, replaced the red inserts for chrome, removed the spot lights to refit the front bumper properly.

replaced the mk5 escort spoiler for a replica saph item.

Decided to replace the rear bumper as it had been painted and was damaged on one side.

love the colour of the rs turbo wheels against the white/grey but wanted to fit a set of 16” Imolas that i had so have repainted them Gaphite Grey.

Looking smart. A few Onions have appeared hereabouts recently. Any plans to do anything with the engine? Such as bury it in an unmarked grave and fits something with a bit of thrust?
