RIP Rod. Many a day spent at MAD HQ, shows, Brunters (and other airfields) and rolling roads. Sad loss to your family and also the Cosworth scene in general.
I met Rod once at Marks place, he was so helpful and I enjoyed our chat, his enthusiasm was infectious for the Cosworth brand.Very misunderstood over the forums I think.A genuine lovely fella. RIP Rod.
It's sad news to read these posts . He was such a nice chap like a lot of lads on here I had very memorable chats to rod over the years . It's the end of a era
RIP mate

Hi there, I was searching the internet and came across these posts about my father Rod Tarry. It was lovely to read all the posts and to see that he has meant so much to people. So thank you. It's a sad loss to the family and his friends.
You're welcome Kay, Rod as you know was a bit of a legend in the Cosworth scene, with Marks help pushing the boundaries of what could be achieved.
But he always put his family first - best wishes to you and yours.

Rip mate, rod was the start of my own hunger for serious power I yearned for the figures his saph could produce I for one will never forget him, I hope his saph has gone to a home that will keep it much the same as he had it
Yes, just google Mark Shead and you will find the number. Or pm me and I will give you his mobile. I would love to see someone off here buy it.
I have marks number but I'm not going to call him and waste his time, I was looking for something alot newer, this would have to be an addition purchase to my new family car, I just need some pondering time if it was advertised gives me something to look at
Crazy what the family want for it there just looking for closure on it. Was talking to mark about the car and he was saying he hopes someone buys it and puts a 3.9 diff in it to liven it up even more. You know it’s a quick car when he say it would be a mental road car like that!
sorry to hear about rod tarry. ive not been on here for ten months never met him or spoke to him ive read a few of his posts. one just assumes people like him will be scating around here for ever
