Anybody got any pictures from simply ford at the weekend. I couldn't make it but would like to see pics

 

I have loads of photos from previous years but didnt take many this time. I am suprised there hasnt been lots of people posting their photos.There were lots of cars there as usual.


My Saff was the only one on the main central tarmac parking area. Saffs were very thin on the ground this year.

think there was a BIG issue with where the clubs were positioned. Apparantly the show was parking pay on the day parking infield which upset a lot of clubs.

I'll post all mine up in the relevant section if I can get photobucket to play ball. We pre booked but not with a club,and got parked bang next to the tarmac square. Was dry till about 2pm then rained from then on.

 

Nobody seems to post up pictures from shows like they used to. Probably due to faceache.

 

Yeah that would have annoyed me if that was the case, clubs have always been in the centre, I've parked mine there the last few years

 

Probably won't bother next year, can't be arsed walking half a mile to the heart of the show, and I'm pretty sure most of the attendees wouldn't have bothered making the trek out to our stand in the next postcode area either.
Well worth spending an entire day washing, polishing and hoovering ready to display it.

 

They tried to send me out in the field as well but I insisted I park up on the central tarmac area like I have always done every year since Simply Ford started.
I think this year wasnt as well organised as other years.

 

There is some videos on Youtube but they didnt show much of the show.

I'll have to get them off my memory card over the next few days.

My heart wasn't in it as much this year. Was great to get my saff out for a run but as cossynut2 said, saffs were really thin on the ground. I also only saw one RS1600i which was a shame as I'm really into my mk3 escorts right now...

 

I'm definetly going next year, was gutted to have missed it this year for the first time in years

 

enjoyed it last year but this year had a low interested level so skipped it, but heard it pissed down after lunch plus parking issues
