Why is the rear differential such an odd shape? It seems lik there wouldn't be any room inside for the crown wheel.

 

The diffs are GT endurance series.

Yes thats the plan. The June race hopefully. The cars been finished and rebuilt but a trip to Spa at the end of the month clashes with the May race. Unfortunately Ive had it turned down quite abit power wise and taken it off the race fuel, it wont be a front runner it will more be a tailender in my hands.

First race:

In my opinion wasn't too bad! next to no track experience apart from two days at spa where I learned to drive the car! Best time was a 53 second round brands and best result out of the two races was 7th out of 24. So pretty happy a lot of big class A and class B cars in the grid but gone backwards ever since.

Headgasket issues at todays track day led to a rather expensive engine bill where I had to purchase a new head as mine had been skimmed too much already. Lesson learned to switch engine off asap! The engine ended up needing 4 pistons and ordering one of smith and jones big valve heads and upgraded the turbo to the latest D1 spec engine the 7670 EFR turbo.

 

Sorry to hear about the head gasket/ engine issues mate! Always a fucked up thing, big bills...

But keep up and come back bigger and stronger.
