WRC2 Escort Cosworth
Havent really added anything on this one but had this for months now. I used to complain and moan about the condition of the other one this ones even worse!
Some may know the car used to be an ex rallycross car previously built to group N spec. The car has been since converted to a circuit car. Plans with it are to rebuild it paint it inside and out. SPEC ENGINE IS A CURRENT 2015 DIV1 JULIAN GODFREY RALLYCROSS ENGINE 10 LONG STUD, WET LINERED NIKASIL CNC MACHINED BLOCK, BILLET PISTONS, STEEL HEAVY DUTY CRANKSHAFT WITH A BILLET DRY SUMP. CNC FULLY PORTED HEAD WITH SPECIAL CAMSHAFTS. INCONEL EXHAUST MANIFOLD, MIS INLET MANIFOLD, 2015 SPEC TURBO WITH A 58MM RESTRICTOR, PECTEL SQ6 MAPPED currently on 102 Superflow dev2 turbo ultimate race fuel FULLY ADJUSTABLE BLADED ANTI ROLL BARS OHLINS REMOTE RESERVOIR COILOVER RACE SUSPENSION HARVEY 6 DEGREE REAR BEAM GEARBOX IS THE LATEST QBE87G 6 SPEED SEQUENTIAL WITH FLAT SHIFT SHELL FULLY LIGHTENED KEVLAR DOORS, FRONT WINGS, REAR QUARTERS AND BONNET. BATTERED BRUISED AND NEEDING SOME LOVE UNDERSIDE IS PRETTIER THAN THE TOP |

Kevlar rear bumper ripped off and dented, along with front bumper and a few more wounds to add to it.

Last outing at Brands.
Attachment 25586 Struggled to heat up the tyres early on then checked I had 35psi in them so dropped 10psi out of them. Need a steep learning curve really to get this competitive again. |

GT grippers front and back. Yes thats the only thing it hasnt got being an individual throttle bodied inlet it didnt comply to the race regs it used to race in. Quite a few of the rallycross boys are changing back to mis inlets. The mag MIS inlets produce more bhp whereas the tibuc make higher torque. |

Its the QMN Saloon car championship, most races are at Brands Hatch
|
If you skip to around 3:20 of this video, you can see how fast this car can be, the way it accelerates away from Rod Birley's escort on the start was awesome to watch, shame the propshaft came undone and it didn't make it round 1 lap :cry:

The car went up to crazy cage to have the exhaust moved from the passenger seat.

Started to start to clean up the shell ready to go off to be painted. The inside had been painted with household paint so had to remove it and ended up taking the inside and engine bay back to bare metal
