Peugeot 205 with 4wd cosworth engine and running gear.
Lol ok mate on that above after the naturally aspirated it does say and high performance turbo charged strange they dont list 2 prices my head off the mountunes very good was just looking
I dont find their site very good when you think of the money you are going to spend...i.e. Mark Shead said they have a newer version of the block now where the bolts go right through to the main caps...he said that is a good improvement.
Yes i agree for the money they charge they should update that site mark mentioned the new long studs im happy ive made the decision now jeez it was a long battle in my head to part with the mountune engine
Mark
I plan to continue with my own head, assuming it has never been skimmed or at least has some good thickness left.
Caddyshack, I had them wheel made by image years ago on my dimma 19 pug ,I only live round the corner from them . They where the bollocks on the car , they should have all the offsets, had them make my 15 inch RS wheels on my mk2 rs2000
Thanks for the post, nice to hear. They seem very willing to help. I am going to send them every single measurement I can and hope they can make a set to look and work right on my car. I have big brakes, wide arches and wide track so it is impossible to buy off the shelf with any certainty...I am tempted to buy just one wheel and try it to only risk Ł400 but the wait is 8 weeks per order and I am an impatient fucker.

Now I have the 6 degree beam and the geo sorted it has very good dry grip but once the next engine goes in I think I will struggle. I will experiment with sticky rubber next.
Just finishing off the rear build for parcel shelf. I was going to send it to a trimmer but it is actually quite simple to do and I am really pleased with the results so far...will post up some pics soon
Passenger foot well, the pipe will be cut, it is air feed off heater. Still work in progress. I am having bespoke bound car mats made with locking points, 1 set in red and one in black. Will prob have 4x4 or powered by cosworth stitched in. Or maybe a lion (Peugeot) swallowing a Cossie as the original show photo had a stuffed lion with a Cossie in its mouth
This is part finished bulkhead behind front seats, made a cubby hole for stuff. Where the slots are for the cage I have carpet inserts for that which Velcro up in place.
Component 2 ways in shelf behind rear seats. Crossover is under the shelf. I have a small alpine sub in a box under the shelf with built in amp, it is not heavy and helps back fill the noise, I have an adjustable gain and cross over in the arm rest.
Fire extinguisher is just rested there

I offered up the rear bladed anti roll bar today, it is about 1.5 inches too long to fit between the chassis rails. MK Mark has kindly offered to take the end off, chop out the length and put a new end on so I am posting it back next week.
I put the 250 front springs on in place of the 350lb fronts, now the front ends moves.

stunned man!
the badges are really something smart, same for the interiors.
can't wait to see the new rear anti-roll bar set up too and know how it behaves...
keep us posted mate...

The bonnet paint had annoyed me, I didn't have the same shine as the rest of the car, I put it down to being carbon fibre but today I thought I would have a go at correction, clay bar, G3 and water, then 3 m super fast cut through to super fine on the da, then polish and seal. Came up quite well and now you can see the carbon weave through the paint.<br/>
Seems much better, 350 lbs for a car this light was way too much, it is quieter now and I like body roll and weight transfer when I drive a road car, I want this car to be supple over a bumpy road like the 1.9gti is famous for.
Throttle cable now replaced and found why the old one had snapped, it was snagging at the end where it enters the holder on the throttle body so I whizzed up a sleeve and new adjuster to smooth that out and it works fine.
I had an odd mis fire that stopped cyl 1 firing but the more I checked it dropped 2 then 3...I put on new plugs and coil packs but nothing...then I noticed that the fuel rail inlet is at cyl 4 so thought fuel was not getting enough pressure...checked everything through and then brimmed the tank..it was showing 20 litres but was moving around a lot from that point...turns out it was empty of fuel and luckily I had not ragged it around...now it runs smooth as and I have spare plugs and coil packs.
Will book in with Mark Shead to check the map now as he thinks it may need a tweak now that I have the hart inlet and better intercooler.

I just saw a post on Facebook, SCS have just done a pull on the dyno with a 2.2l block but on a 9180, they said very safe ingnition and pump fuel, it made 780bhp at just over 7000 rpm....Wow. We can't fit that large a turbo on my car without major work and I don't need anything like that power but bodes well...they said watch this space for more!
I am starting to assemble the dosh for the first part of my build and I will then unleash Mark Shead to spec it.
