Mine is my mk3 escort xr3. Would have been mint now as had all the stuff to restore it. Some bastards broke into it and nicked the wheels and dumped it on the floor the night it was parked outside the garage ready for me to start the strip down the next morning. They trashed it and I was disheartened so sold it. Regret that now. Had a nightmare the other night that i was selling the Cossie to a mate and went round the garage of his and he had it painted and looked awesome and I woke up feeling
Sick lol

I would say my nissan pulsar. I imported it in 2007 and was mint with 47k on it. I loved it but some fucker tried to steal it in 2009. They never managed to take it but I lost the love for it after that but I do miss it.

My mint black series 2, looked standard apart from being lowered with a 3" scorpion exhaust and putting out around 200 bhp. Loved that car.

The one I miss the most

Do I regret selling it... yes and no
I miss the power, the spec was awesome and I chucked a lot of £££££ at it
It looked and sounded awesome

It cost so much to run though, I couldn't afford to run it daily while I was still living at home lol... it was a animal on the road
If I'd kept it I'd probably be in jail for well over the speed limit, banned or dead tbh

A shitty mk5 escort I bought off my dad for £50, the then mrs nagged me to get rid of it as it was rusty and old, I loved it, no idea why, not long after I got rid of her but my car was already gone ☹️️

It was rare only few in the Uk & Gordon Murray had one. House or car it was simple really my House is the best investment ever. Did miss it though as did the Missus. Took a Ford Cortina GT in PX & allowed him £80. Didn't like it & sold it for £85 a month later. It was a Glass Sport Motors Flamingo. Fast back then capable of 120+mph.

My sierra gt hatchback. The reason why is cause it had escos wheels and full cossie interior and i sold it for 200 quid to a mate cause it had no tax or test.

Hmm, probably my 1600GT

Although I sold it to get a Porsche 912 so no regrets at the time. I'd love that car back again and get it fully restored so it was as perfect as could be.

The Type R above is cool but my eyes were drawn more to the R5 GTT. I'd love another one of those but not the one I had back when I was 18... The grey would probably be me colour of choice too.

Probably my escort cabby.
I have owned it 3 times,I bought it and turbo'd it,had it painted,44000 gen miles,mint half leather interior,new rs 7 spokes,running 190 bhp,bayjoo chip etc.
Sold it yo a guy who didn't look after it,bought it back and tidied it then sold it for a quick buck,it then passed through a lot if folk then ended up with a pal,I bought it with great intentions but I sold all my projects to buy another mk2 frs which I hated.
The car is sitting outside under a flappy tarpaulin and the guy won't sell but I bought a mk4 escort van the other day which he wants so I may be able to get a deal out if him yet!

A white 2wd saph I owned, think it was F256 XWY, at the time I was moving house and didn't have the space for another cossie and it needed a bit of welding to the rear chassis rail but that was virtually it, sold it for £2500 and regretted it not long after. The rest of the car was virtually mint but it did have quite a bit of piston slap admittedly. Always something I could've held onto and gradually fixed but too late now sadly as it got broken not long after I sold it.

Any of the old skool fords I've owned over the years as they are fetching good money these days, the most recent being my MK2 Granada which I sold for a grand, it was in great condition and are fetching 5k+ these days,

I still have this tucked away in a lock up maturing like a rare wine

My dad sold his Y Reg 1982 Mk2 Granada back in 1998-1999 for £50! Bought it 2nd hand in 1985 for £2.5k, was a proper tidy one... all original paintwork
It developed a auto box fault while it was parked up for a couple of years so he bought a G Reg 1990 Vauxhall Carlton 2 litre cdi

Looking back now I bet a gearbox filter change would have sorted it and fresh fluid

A restored to standard White XR4i. It had £££££s of receipts from Ford for new parts. The person I sold it to rolled it a few months after I sold it to him.

none yet, but bought an old 90s merc estate to replace the bmw several months ago, and still have the bmw. dont think i cant part with it, its too good smoking about in an v12 7series!

may try an store it somewhere, as it didnt cost alot and isnt worth alot, but would be quite hard to replace with another in a few years time. only ever seems to be one or two short wheel bases for sale.

My XR4i. I loved that car,but after it suffered some damage to the front after some bint pulled out in front of me I kind of lost the love. I should have had it brought back to it's former glory, but sold it still damaged. I took about £400 for it if I remember right.

I was looking for an impreza last year and as you know thee are so many variations of the same thing and internet searching leads you from 1 thing to another,I ended up on a dealers website from down south where they had it,an impreza s202,just imported, excellent condition etc.
I called the next day to enquire, then did an internet search which turned up a thread about the car having the wrong wheels and seats, specific to the s202.
I called back and was assured they have sourced the parts and the car would be 100% so I placed a deposit pending they got the correct parts.
When they turned up the seats were sun damaged and the wheels incorrect so I withdrew from the sale and because I am impatient I bought my saph cosworth instead.
If ever there's a car I regret not buying it's the s202 in blue, ugliest newage impreza some say but I love them and if I ever sold my saph that's what I'd buy if I could find a good 1.
