Cossie 2wd hubs?
If so what about the brembo caliper 350 kit from compbrake? I used it on my last saff and they are now going on the cortina. Ping me a text and i will find a pic and sendvia whatsapp.

I used 8 x18 focus rs alloys so that could be a starting point....

Just sent text.

I've ordered a set of Revolution millennium in 17 inch and they are 3 door Cossy hubs.

8 x 17 ET40 rear and 7.5 x 17 ET37 front

Edit as I've just spotted the pic - looks like they might squeeze under 17's

Whether I could get an outline drawing from Compbrake is another question !

I think I've convinced the guy at Revolution to send me a drawing of just the inside profile of the wheel.

Don't want to guess on if the parts will all fit.

So much for a 5 door being cheaper than the EsCos to do up

Would have been much cheaper and quicker to stick to the original plan, but I like sleepers and this should surprise a few people !

Will you add any metal to the top of the rear shock mounts if you're going to be running a rear coilover?

I've been told a rear strut brace will be more than enough if the car is not rusty

I did'nt run a brace on my saff but as yours is a hatchback you will need it and notice a difference.

Would it be a idea to tie the brace in with rear diff mount ? Could be a nice mod.🤔

I've considered it, but it would mean chopping the floor about as the diff mount bolts to a floating plate within a box section.

Probably try the lazy option first and just a regular brace.

It would only require 4 oversized holes in floor.

Awesome build. I've read this a couple of times and would love to have the skills to build something like this. Cars going to be a minter when it's finished and FairPlay to you. Can't wait to see it finished

Got as far as I can with diff cover until I can figure out how to make a PC talk to a Mazak FJV20 machining centre.

It is proving far harder than I imagined !

Got a bit more done, getting a PC to talk to the CNC mill has proved to be a pain in the ass !

Diff cover was going OK

Then the CNC had a spaz attack and smashed the cutter to bits

Took a big chunk out of the cover also, don't know if it's a post processor problem or a fault with the machine...

On the positive side a nice parcel from Martin Hadland showed up with some bling brakes.

I sent him a wheel to check clearances and he sorted out some 335mm fully floating discs discs and CP9200 calipers.

Got some matching discs for the rear also

Revolution wheels are any colour you like as long as it's white, I would have preferred silver though !

I'm going to remove all the fins and get the damage welded, I've given up with the Mazak as the damn thing has a mind of its own.

The plan is to finish off on our little Bridgeport Interact CNC.

Fingers crossed

Now that's an awesome bit of custom work. Should be well pleased with that I would say. Wonder how many people are going to see it and ask you to make more

I have them welding done profesionnaly, thats why I offer them a lot cheeper unwelded as this is around £10 per joint weld (£100 each).

The one's on the listing are made for bolt straight on thats why they are merged like they are. Only having manifolds to copy and not cars to work from that is all I can do. eBay screw 10% and Paypal another 3%.

Graham

I would say £10 per joint is not bad if they're back purged with Argon, cost me a fortune is gas to do mine
