Default I'm Ok and well after abit of a scare few days ago

Few days ago i have been suffering with pain in my chest ''feels like i have been hit by a bus'' as at first it was miled and not too bad thinking it was just heart burn. well i finished work and was rather tired, very beatheless and also my chest was alot worse. I had some tea and then started to feel like i was going to fall over, i couldnt stand up, i couldnt balence, then within about 5-10seconds from my recall i started to go blind, Like when you get blood rush, The pain started to move alot, and really really hurting like being stabbed, Ran over then hit with a sledge hammer. I couldnt beather at that point, I was rushed into hospital, was put onto a life support, and then blood taken then went into xray, was to rest for 1hur 3min and my blood came back Positive = Blood Clot. I was resting and on a life support untill my heart and lung recover and the clot move, i had 4injections. 1 in the stumec, one in the chest, one in the leg, and one in my right arm. Witch was to thinen the blood. (dont remmber the name)

Now i went into have my C.a.t scan and it came back with blood clot in my right lung and my lung collasped.. they are putting it down to a stroke at the age of 21.

Blood taken again later that day and its come back negitive so all is well.

Its more likely Clexane, I am on that (daily injections) for a large Femoral blood clot from when I was pregnant (nearly did me in too!!) they are a weird thing to have but if you stay on the blood thinners you should make a full recovery, just watch out if you inject in your arm as the blood clots strangely and gives you hard lumps. I do mine in my stomach now

Hey hope you're okay. Had clots on my lungs in April last year too although only suffered from severe chest pain (I was 33 at the time). Not found the cause to be honest though Was in hospital for a week or so being given daily Fragmin injections and Warfarin tablets to thin out my blood.

Had to take Warfarin daily for six months a have blood checked regulary for its thickness. Will be under the consultant for 2 years as unknown cause, but am happy its being kept an eye on.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

think the injection would be called clexane. or something like that.. My misses had a heart attack 2 years ago and they gave her this as an injection everyday as she was pregnant as well, men use it to. it happens with blokes. blokes have nothing to protect there heart, women have eastrogen which protects there bodies so you don't hear of many women having heart attacks or strokes when young. My other halfs blood consultant takes 75 milligrams of pure asprin a day, not because he has anything wrong, its to prevent heart attacks or strokes.. and he recommends it. there are some side effects of taking it but what they prevent outweighs the effects it may cause.. no more than 75mg a day though. this should prevent you from having anything else. if your unsure about this, talk to your consultant, im sure it will be right for you baring in mind what you have just had mate, best of luck getting sorted with it. I do it now for prevention as i'm 21 stone

As a few others have said, the injections would probably have been Clexane (enoxaparin). Warfarin isnt injected. Dont take aspirin if you have any other blood thinning drugs though.

A stroke is bleeding or blockage of a main artery to the brain. A clot in the lung, is a pulmonary embolism, it can cause heart problems because the heart tries to overcompensate for the lack of oxygenated blood and cant keep up.

Hope you have a speedy recovery
