think the injection would be called clexane. or something like that.. My misses had a heart attack 2 years ago and they gave her this as an injection everyday as she was pregnant as well, men use it to. it happens with blokes. blokes have nothing to protect there heart, women have eastrogen which protects there bodies so you don't hear of many women having heart attacks or strokes when young. My other halfs blood consultant takes 75 milligrams of pure asprin a day, not because he has anything wrong, its to prevent heart attacks or strokes.. and he recommends it. there are some side effects of taking it but what they prevent outweighs the effects it may cause.. no more than 75mg a day though. this should prevent you from having anything else. if your unsure about this, talk to your consultant, im sure it will be right for you baring in mind what you have just had mate, best of luck getting sorted with it.
