track time

Can anybody please tell me if you can run on the track (rs national day sunday) with slicks fitted, I have heard you have to have a roll cage fitted to use slicks but i am unsure.

you are right there mate u need a roll cage plus helmet

You'd need a helmet even if your on road tyres xr2nut.

Best to contact the RSOC for confirmation Ian. Must admit its something I have never heard of before, but stranger things have happened I suppose.
