Hi all. Im a trackday marshal at Cadwell Park, so if anyones got any questions about rules and stuff let me know. This has been my full time job for 4 years now.

 

Firstly welcome to Pf and thanks for doing the job that you do

Secondly why just stick to marshaling ? Why not give it a go at/on any weekends off

Iv'e done both sides been a member of BMRMC / BRMC for over 15 years, been rallying for 11 years and track days etc for the last 3.

Why do some guys love the black flag so much ? Surely you can tell an experienced driver from a novice ? Not a critisism btw - just an observation ? I have and will continue to use it myself on occasions too

 

Black flag means they get a bit of authority!!
Usually work 6 days a week doing it so ive driven it enough.

 

You could always pop over to somewhere else then on your day off and have a bit of a play off piste so to speak See how many marshals you can annoy

Just got a question for you but its not about trackdays at the moment as some peeps gave me load of info in this site what i needed to know a few months ago. HOw did you get in to being a marshal and have you got any jobs going up there?

I am normally kicking about when there is track days on watching the cars but hope to get sorted out with another car sometime and get involved in to having a go on there,cheers

 

Saw it in the Horncastle News 4 years ago, but they take new people on every march. Phone up and ask matey, there might be a space available.
