The usual Christmas get together! Always nice to break up the Christmas period with a track day and a chinwag so who is interested? Nice and central £130 open pit through Javelin....
Register your interest.

We have no choice Glenn, Donington are doing some work so closed or the other choice is Blyton and that's ok for your Westfields or Fiesta Zetecs

If you find Mallory boring, you're not trying hard enough. Gerards is one of my favourite turns anywhere. Being on a 80-90mph bend that seems to go on forever constantly adjusting the car, then still being brave for the Esses. My average lap speed is over 83mph and there's not exactly a lot of straights on the track and a second gear hairpin.

Not sure Rich, never an issue for me unless my exhaust fell off.

Yeah its a good experience for anyone! no matter how fast you go its not a race day and the day can still be enjoyed as long as people pull over to let people overtake on the right side. That's the biggest thing that bugs me.

Might consider it if I can get the car stripped down, planned work done and back together in plenty of time.

Yeh gutted mate but wait for the bigger picture. I love the track but let's say I'm dubious of the management. I think the Bedford Day in Feb is a better option for those of us who run quiet exhausts.

Will be sold up and turned into houses no doubt. Which will hopefully deeply upset the idiot residents who complained about the noise!

Yes hopfully they will throw up 8000 houses on the site and move a shit load of pikey immigrants in, suddenly the burble of a 4 pot turbo or the roar of V8 would be a welcome return lol

Wow Daily Mail!
You've obviously researched the situation well, before passing judgement!

Javelin phoned today with the news that they have had to cancel the date due to too much uncertainty on what's happening.
They are offering full refunds or another date for those booked on
Sadly for them they are getting caught up in someone else's politics but their response and service is first rate as usual

Sounds interesting, never done Blyton and the noise limits seem sensible. Anybody else going?
