I've spoke to Chris today and he's very happy and willing to work together to put on a good show .

We're just working out dates between us, as we cant sort it untill he has sorted his books out.

We have some ideas up our sleeve's, so im not saying anything yet! its a surprise

York would be a 3 day trip for me im not into a 2 way trip in a day at 68 believe me as for camping on a cow turd & eating a KFC . I need decent sleeps & eats so thats Ł500 gone before i start .

My car exists to set records for Topspeed running. If i wish to have a car thats the best at the 1/4 I would build it as ive the time & the money.
You lads enjoy yourself you are young & it will still seem a good idea.
At my age bashing around in a 25 year old Ford is not on my list of things to do .

Would be good if u could get some of the top fords at the minute, Charlie shaws focus, wennys escort etc to attend, this would attract a lot of people seeing these 2 going head to head!

I understand where your coming from Rod. No matter our age differences, our interests are very different but our passion is the still the same.

Most of us can only hope to have as much drive and enthusiasm as you do. Like I said earlier. This would never appeal to persons such as yourself or Martin and the likes.

No matter your thoughts whether its a good idea, bad idea, or I'm just wishful thinking, it's still early days yet but as earlier posts changed the course of the topic, it is now an idea that is manifesting in such a good way, and the amount of people who have showed their support to make this happen is unreal! So for that I thank them.

And thanks to you also Rod, for taking your time to post. Before I joined I was reading your interview, and now talking to you. So again thanks for taking your time.

Some of the posts I've read from you Dan, seems like you have a massive problem with something?! You are getting the legover aren't you? There's a well known stress reliever called, well in your case, "Dan Time". If you give it ago it might shake that massive chip of your shoulder

Thanks Rod, I appreciate your comments. Ive been off work for ages now with a torn disc and multiple slipped disc, got that depressed cause i couldnt get out the house and ended up with an anxiety problem as a result . Nothing that 16 pills a day cant sort out tho lol
The forum, my engine build and now this are keeping me busy and getting me more active, so its kinda like therapy for me.

Paul, could you ask Wenny to drop me a pm? Its looking like late june early july, but still waiting for comfirmation. Im assured by Chris that he wants to put his all into the project, He says he's got an idea for the day that he's even keeping from me untill he balances the books
