I think that the other half a dozen are all lads from the clio forum, as quite a few of them said they were going to book on.

I think a few more will be booking soon too, and they are all a good bunch of lads with decent track manners etc, so Im sure they will fit in just fine.

Should be fine mate, even most ITB cars are, it was only cause yours were almost outside the bonnet that you had problems I believe.

SteveB is brinign his CSL, and Ive seen plenty of them there on other visits to bedford.

Is that what you have now then?
PROPER car that!

thats not a bad option,

i'm tempted to book too, and drive to 6000 in morning and then 7800 later on

with mine (supercharge) the high rev's it gets a little louder, i may well be fine anyhow, but not wanting risk 3 laps and banned again

Only ten minutes for me!
I was close last year and told to short shift and in the afternoon planned to rag it until brakes went followed by clutch.
New brakes and clutch sorted anyway! Also only had the car a couple of months last year and fully use to it now so cant wait to stretch its legs. Knowing my luck head gasket will probably go. Only ever came away once without a broken car there and i think that was cause it rained lol
The trusty sierra 4be back up vehicle will be in tow so any black flags i will ship over to the 4be
Cant wait not long now lets hope for dry conditions and no bloody white stuff!!!
Anyone contacted the mags as this will be the first passionford track day up there?
Cheers
Ian

By the looks of it Ian, I think the French and Germans will be the majority I'm afraid. Unless I prep the wife's Puma, you may be very outnumbered in a Ford.

Cool

If in doubt start the day on a lower boost setting and then creep it up if you dont get any noise warnings (if you get close to pinging it they normally tell you)

No you wouldn't, Bedford's a big track so normally plenty of space out on circuit. Best thing is to perhaps jump in with one of us as a passenger, to get a feel for it. Then go out for yourself and maybe shadow one of us.

Only done a few track sessions at silverstone before (ford fair) so this will be my first proper track day.

Bedford is horrendous for sound levels and not very tolerant with it either BUT if the cars quiet enough then it's like a track day for dummies as such , it's just a old airfield with plenty of space to come off or move out the way unlike some of the proper tracks
