Passionford trackday - Bedford - 16th Feb 2013 - 139 open pit lane full day
 

The first passionford trackday has now been setup in association with Palmer Autosport.

Its on February the 16th at bedford autodrome.

Before everyone starts to thank me, dont bother as the hard work was done by SteveB after I approached him about helping me out with sorting this as I knew that prior to his standing down at Bedford RSOC it was him that used to sort a similar day out for them, so I asked him to help me organise a PF one for next year and he has kindly done so.

139 quid for the full day open pitlane at the safest circuit in the UK should hopefully go a long way to achieving the ideal of being able to make this event accessible to all passionford users!

ALL makes and models of cars are welcome, but please be aware that bedford has STRICT noise rules imposed on them by the local council, so during the next 6 months make sure your car is quiet enough!

So get booking lads, as I can see this one filling up fast!

Worth doing the silencing anyway mate, noise rules are only ever going to get stricter most places I reckon!

At most Hillclimb events you get 105db drive by!
I've seen some stupidly loud machinery and never seen one pulled for being to noisey.

I hope to make it with the MK5 RS2000, also be there 29th of this mouth if anyone is about dont forget its a one strick and your out job there with the noise

Bring a helmet and sign on as a passenger Mark, costs a tenner. I'll take you out mate and sure others would. Otherwise spectating is not good there. It's not set up for it at all.

I'm tempted to sign up but both Clio and impreza ain't running lol

Would love to go, but neither the Cossie nor the Evo would make the noise test drive by limit :cry:

Me being one of the six well done Stevie boy I'll be on it like a car bonnet. Only downside with bedrsoc not organizing my track cover won't apply.
Beds was going to organize but I guess they won't know I was talking to big p amd terry at the last meet

Ill research my travelling and if its ok I'll do it in the focus.

Long way to go for you obviously but if you are in doubt then head over there beforehand they will test it for you any day pretty much, just ask them.

Or better still, just fit a quiet exhaust!

Don't think we will ever pass the drive by, got pulled in at Combe, and I bet there drive by is higher than Bedford

I'll book onto this once I've put a few miles on new build to make sure it's 100%.

good plan chip, car is done marks just working his way through the suspension at the min and trying to get some r888s off his brother lol, but will be a good idea to run up there and put some miles on the car as its only 1:15 mins away ish. :king:

If anyone is dubious about noise just down load the db app on there phone and test it

Bit crude but should give some sort of indication
