Works and plays on track
Can't think of many other cars that you could drive in comfort to track, use on it and then go home in it.
The only thing I had to do to it was let some air out of the tyres for on track! Talk about arrive and drive.

Her lines are consistant and she is pretty smooth, but she lacks a bit of bravery (or stupidity, depending on which way you look at it) to really push the car right past its limits.
I can normally manage to take a second or two out of her on most tracks, but she can do literally 4 or 5 times as many laps on a set of tyres as what I get out of them! I bet on an endurance race she'd beat me, lol

Only SCS engines come with an in built chassis oiler that automatically dispenses an oil treatment to prevent rust, so they certainly have that side of development tied up years ahead of the competition
All joking aside though, the engine pulls wonderfully all through the rev range, obviously it was only on low boost cause of noise, but it still had PLENTY of pace
Handlign was what really impressed me though, especially transition from cornering one way to the other, its relatively easy to get right going round and round a roundabout etc, but a lot harder to move that much weight from one way to the other. You've done a cracking job on it

Mike, Thanks for my session too
Wasnt sure what to expect when I first sat inside that car would I get out feeling dirty and used?
Pleased to say I emerged HAPPY and pumped up!
That car pulls out of the corners triumphantly and as Chip highlights pulls consistantly. The brakes also are what impressed me the most I think
Hope to return the favor one day.

She's up for another day and I think I may be able to talk her into being added as a driver this next time out
I'm really hankering for a Clio track car now Think I will see what happens with work and if it's all good I may have to get one in Sept.

It was really good her going out with your missus as it showed her the girls are more than capable of joining in and also being a Clio she was able to make a comparison (even though hers is a 1.5 Diesel).
Your missus can pedal really well from what I saw

Lee thanks for taking me out in the westy it's epic
Your welcome
The oil filter vibrated loose (thankfully as we just left the pits) and dumped half the contents of the sump on track before we spun on the oil deposited on the tyres at a leisurely 20mph. Richie (sailor boy) jumped in to help and screwed it back on, but the seal had come out of the resess, so when we started it back up, it was still pissing out.
Luckily with it still being only 4.40, Ben went into town, got oil, filter and filter ratchet from Halfords (as Richie had done the other one up so tight, he couldn't undo it again ), and it was all put back together and I was able to drive home.
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who pitched in, as it meant that I didn't have to worry about anything:
Richie fixed it
Ben (Gatecrasher) went and got all the parts
Nathan, Paul and RichPON all waited in case I needed a lift home.
Absolute stars the lot of them .

Just don't let him take you round silverstone, I knew the track better than Luke did! He might get lost!
