I will do later in the year mate, need to go through the suspension and brakes first tho
So how forgiving is the circuit for a first timer, and do you guys sort track insurance and where from?
The circuit is the most forgiving you will ever find and everywhere is run off. I always if gets busy pull back and find space and have no problems. Its so big never gets congested etc.
I have my car insured through the rsoc (boncaster) and they cover it for rsoc organized days such as this although the excess goes up to a 1k.
Most accidents occur there is people congest up and ride on bumpers. They are quite hot and put boards up to tell you to stop tailgating etc.
You will be fine get the frs up there.
Even if you dont run come up its good to watch and have some banter.
Oi...!!!! 135 down the back straight in the pouring rain.... Its all the polish I have on the car, makes it slippery lol
Steve
I have to say was so impressed with your car in the rain and as mine was so crap enjoyed actually going around the track at some speed lol. My next car is defo going to be and frs. No more saffs or 3 doors for me.
lets hope if it rains the Escos is better and with me rain x and new wipers i hope i can see this time lol
1 is bad enough, I'd love to have the ŁŁ for 4 track cars.... Surprised you haven't bought 1 ultimate über bling track weapon.
Yeah he should get something mental like a Like a 500bhp westfield thats utterly nuts?
He could get one of them I guess, but then the downside for that is its hard work though, so you would need something very easy to drive for the rest of the day, like maybe an Exige S, and then you need some sort of hatchback or van to chuck all the kit in, like maybe a clio?
Dunno why he hasnt thought of it TBH, he must be stupid
Without wanting to be a cheeky fecker, well ok maybe a slightly cheeky one. Would anybody be willing to take my missus out for some laps, not mad ones. She's a good sport in coming to play cars with me as I know it's not really her thing, would love it if I can bring her home at the end of the day having experienced more than just my ham fisted attempts at driving quickly
She has a Clio anyway mate so she'd be able to have apoint of reference so to speak. If you would take her for a couple of laps I'd appreciate it. I owe you a bottle of brake fluid from last year already

Strange as it seems I know that Lee has all those cars, what I ment was perhaps an ex GT race car or similar...
