Default CLASSIC FORD LONDON to BRIGHTON RUN SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 4th 2011

Classic Ford owners are invited to take part in a new London to Brighton run scheduled to take place on Sunday September 4 next year.
There is a limited entry for all models of all ages, Ford Pilot to Ford Zodiac, – Anglia, Capri, Cortina, Escort and others.
All cars will assemble at Crystal Palace on the Sunday morning and drive a given route to Madeira Drive on Brighton’s famous seafront where the cars will form part of a big public display showing different Ford models through the ages .
The entry fee is £95 per car and the event will be supporting a childrens charity.

i'm sorry did i read that right, £95 entry to drive from london to brighton for a show!!!

thats fucking mental!!!

will the event organisers be covering the fuel considering the rediculous cost of entry?!?!

tbh 95 quid is high but if you take 4 ppl and split the costs it'll work out oki

great cause but in this day and age £95 plus fuel etc is a mega expensive day out ,good luck with it

about 5 times LESS that £95!!! thats the cheaper end of track days FFS!

27 pounds at most unless you wanna do ultimate classic ford and for usc it's 60 quid a ticket so :P i know it's expensive. i've looked on brighton council webpage and it doesn't look like it'll be happening i wonder why ......

where the fuck did you pay £27 for classic ford??
it was £13! admitidely to club members.

ford fair was £16

these are the sorts of figures i'd be expecting to see upto £20 for a park up show!

I wish any ford event well and as its for charity again I wish it success but the £95 is simply unrealistic ,Ford is the car of the working man not that of the silver spoon brigade where £95 is spare change ,Be interesting to see some pics from this to see who has more money than sense

Came through Brighton, saw an Orange MK2 Escort drive by, but that was it!!!!

yep travelled down too and nothing, i assume the escort was the same as you and wonderd down to find nothing.

strangley if you read the op's first line it says sept the 4th NEXT YEAR.

why is an event in a years time being advertised now?

why is it £95 pounds?

why be so vague about what childrens charity it actually is?
