I agree, Id never really build up a proper car again, save yourself a load of time and money and get one done to as near as you want as possible.

Dan, get a cossie... Once mines done we can go out tearing it up

I'll be pushing 'high' 300 figures , more than enough to keep with a decent cossie

Smokestone blue wasnt a colour in 2WD so that could be an issue

Would say get moonstone but we'd get confused

You've pretty much described my car mate - T35 holding 28psi a MSD chip, uprated cooler/clutch/big brakes/leathers and defi replicas

Just make sure you get one with a decent diff or dont try launching it with 4 people in it!

Your looking at about Ł4500 onwards for that kind of spec imo depending on body.

Johns car aint a good spec remember - standard suspension/brakes/cloth interior/ no goodies/essentials like breather/samcos etc...

Johns car would cost over Ł5k to get to what Dan wants, better off finding one done.

I dont remember saying that mate, as it isnt, in fact, 90% of it is fucking spot on, although he really needs to sort out the whole throttle body situation, thats particuarly fucking "special" at the moment.

Well using the cable tensioner to adjust it in the meantime is a bodget if he wants to get pedantic over it I guess, but agreed, no big deal, sort that out and the fuelling supply, and its ready to rock and roll

Car itself is mint, and engine seems pretty good so far too
