Trackday - 5th May Woodbridge, Suffolk.
Not exactly a trip to the ring like the chaps are doing at the moment but I'm going to be doing a trackday at RAF Woodbridge on the 5th of May and wondered if we could get a bit of a PF showing there?
The day is run by Javelin and you can see here for directions, rules etc.
http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk
It is £115 and has an open pit lane all day so you can go out and come in as you please (ideal for novices). The track is 2.2 miles long and has a variety of bends, a long straight and plenty of run off in all the right places!
This is the same place that Performance Ford hold their daddy thrash.
Your car doesn't have to be super fast to have a go and usually there is a real mix of machines there - from ex race cars to the bloke whos taken the family saloon and not told the wife.
I will be in my 2ltr track fezza.
Ps. the burger van is pretty good too!
People going soooo far:
Garage19 / Doug - 2ltr fezza
MK / Marc - 300 bhp turbo XR2
Charlie Chalk / Radders - Lil' blue mini
Simon RS / Simon - Pug 206gti

The javelin staff get there the day before and spend the whole avo/eve sweeping the track to be on tthe safe side.
Looking at the front of my wagon that has been round there on a couple of days and right on the bumper of some of my mates cars and there is no stone damage to mention.
I would say you won't have any probs. Not like brunters which is stone city!

£115 includes an extra driver (who can double as a passenger) IIRC a passenger is £10-15? You can pay for passenger on the day
Heres some pics from the last one we did https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=239790
We've done two at Woodbridge now, the first one I took 20 mins tuition (at £20) to gain a bit of confidence, the 'scort keeps up just as well on the bends as the faster cars, I enjoy the setup couple of good twisties.
Maybe we should get booked in for this one
**EDIT**

Only 3 weeks to go!
I've just got the exhaust sytem to make, fit the coil overs and get some new slicks put on my rims.
I find i work better with a little pressure.
Really looking forward to this day. Hope the weather is ok as i do not have any wets. Could make for some fun driving!

It was 'mildly moist' on the last one we did, only my second ever track day on the pics above you can see most of the cars with their wipers on, but if its wet wet it'll be a bit of a bummer It can't be!
We really need to fit new fuel pump and inline filter before, got two new front tyres on, got one alloy re-sealed - just need to check the track rod ends too
On the list as provisional

Theres not that many solid objects to hit, though watch out for the lilac 'bushes' they have bloody big branches running up the middle of them! the only one to watch out for really is the hard right when you complete your first lap, take it too quick or too tight and you could end up going straight on into the bushes shown in pic below on the left

Was in the workshop till 10 last night working on the fezza.
Manifold just needs some finishing touches like the o2 bung welding in and most of the system is done. Just got the slip joint and a couple of mounts to fab.
Just hope everything holds together on the day as apart from driving around the yard i won't be able to really test anything before hand!
Really looking forward to it now.
