hi brought this xr2i last week as a near minter.it was a completely standard car.
all i have done so far is stripped the interior as its going 2 be a road/track car.
I am going 2 weld the sills and put a new panel in around the fuel cap.
Should be getting mondeo rims 2moz 4 it.

thought i would do a update as havent done 1 for ages.I brought mondeo wheels 4 it but decided 2 do sumthing different so sold them and now have compomotives,also got a 1.8 130bhp zetec now,mondeo v6 brakes,corbeau buckets,luke 4 point harnesses and full ashley exhaust.
still got lots of bits 2 get and lots more work 2 do but cant wait.

im just bored at home ill so thought i wud do a small update and show u sum of the bits ive brought.
got 2 sets of bonnest pins,aire ducts,clear indicators,battery cut off and pedals.


then got my corbeau forza sport seats and luke 4 point harnesses


got a full ashley exhaust system just need 2 get manifold


and my fav bit my compomotive wheels

Nice Profect mate, some pink wheels and pink furry dice would suit the car and the driver very well!!!

 

 

just a quick update managed to strip my zetec engine down this week.every thing is now removed ready for me to clean,paint and hone the block this weekend.

 

yay finaly got my car home on tuesday night from being welded.i dont have any pics of the welding yet but will take some this weekend.the bloke has done a excellent job and am very happy.
brought a few bits at fiesta in the park (wicked time had a great laugh wit u lot)

Twin dellorto 40 carbs with cvh manifold and k nd n filters.i didnt buy these but swapped them for sum bits that i didnt have a ue for anymore.


also got a full set of blue roose hoses and a chrome rocker cover but havent had a chance 2 take pics of these.
