The original metal wings with plastic rs arch will be removed.
Then the carbon wing with integrated arch will be bolted onto the car.

Run with wider wheel/tyre without looking hideously out of place.
That's the idea although I doubt Il run them that wide.
No idea on the exact material type but im told good for 1000hp.
Those are good prices!
Reco Prop quoted me around that price to cut n shut/re balance the shafts, something I didnt want to consider.

1000hp shafts are fine, its the joints you want to worry about

Indeeed although Ive not heard of joints fail as yet with current power.
Fitted new ones on mine though just to be sure there fresh.

Will weigh it this evening although I dont have a standard hatch to compare it to at present, Il call Mike and get him to weigh the one they moulded from.
Just shy of Ł600 for the full carbon hatch
less if you have carbon front/fibreglass rear
again less if you just opt for fibreglass front/rear
Or just single skin available to which fixing would be pinned each corner.

My old tailgate was fibreglass and single skin only, to which Im sure the carbon one is slightly lighter and dual skin.
The interesting thing however is I can place almost all my weight pushing down on the top and it doesnt flex whatsover.
The fibreglass one used to flap like a bitch

updated my post 
mine's quiet sturdy, infact i'm tempted to drill and load of holes on the inside as there is quite a bit of material on the inside
i'd love a carbon one, but saving 1-2kgs on 600 quid just isnt cost effective for me
plus i would have to paint it as i have a white car

Agreed mate totally, only reason I went for this is I wanted a hatch that sealed up (DUALSKIN) and didnt look like it was going to get blown off over 140mph.
btw Liking your new Bedford car
