Painted a spare today in red, few mates said bluntly it looks shite. WTF does one of them know he rides a bmx still.. ....
Im happy with it in principle. Just needs to be aeroquipped then get it crackled/wrinkled finish whatever its known as in red.
Then im happy with it for now

loving your car loads mate,, its fookin awesome!
as for the wheels, i used to have a set of tsw hock r's on my old mk4 escort, they were the bomb, and so of course i love the cxt's too!
keep em black, the shite looks shite, but red maybe a nice touch for some track wheels!
dayglo colours as ryan said would also be good

Lol at the Nike
Cheers Paul thank you Max,Carlo.
Cars been good mate few tiny things to address before it goes back to be mapped on high boost.
Nothing major but need bigger brakes before I brave the realms of 400+hp.
As it is the car handles the power really really well, ive always said it would and glad it has so far.
The issue I have is brakes fade badly from high speed, which WILL NOT be risked with more than the current 322hp.
New wheels will accept larger brakes
Round Combe it was ok but bigger track they will cook.
AP 4-pots with a 300mm Disk or bigger dependant on room, is on the cards.
Basically have a few months to get the above addressd ready to track it as much as possible next year.

been lookin thru this thread again.
TBH Luke, the car is pretty immense. if and when you do decide to lop the boost up
and get 450 bhp. it will be stupid IMO!
proper cool car, and really well put together. love it.

Must bear in mind mate, when the boost level is raised this will be on a seperate map, which is only for 1/4mile or top speed to see what it can do.
Current power is for track and will stay at just that with an extra 1000rpm added. I have no intentions as yet to run anymore than 320ish on track as traction is spot on at this power.
Really can only be proven by taking a seat in the car, its surprising how that BHP number in a FWDcar can immediatly make people think its going to be wheelspin city.

Not many freckles now mate, most of 'em have joined together giving me a nice tan...only taken me 25 years to achieve!
It was alright mate, slight issue with the lad I was looking after at the Malaga Airport on the way back, but other than, was a pretty cool trip. I gotta do one in Brazil or Jamaica in February, not too sure yet, but should be cool. Gotta focus a bit on me car now and get it up to standard for the coming months!

I was told by a guy that does rally crossing, lifting the steering rack helps with torque steer... Can't quite get my head around it, as it would put all the suspension out of place i'd have thought!
