Only a small update ..

Car is away being stripped further and removing some unnecessary weight.
New engine loom is being made and the pile below is whats was not required along the bulk head and behind the dash.




The carbon bonnet i had made arrived last week and this is now also fitted to the car
pretty happy with it and its also dam light but unbelivebly rigid too. You can put your weight on the centre of the bonnet and it does not even flex...






The new arrivals from Pro Alloy are yet again a work of art, still to plumb these in but that wont take long with a few aeroquip fittings.

I agree it would great if a FWD ford was in attendance but as yet the car is still in build mode, and not turned a wheel since October.

Geometry is yet to be set up as is the management, so its not looking promising for 3 weeks really. My aim is have running for Ford Fair at the moment and that will be a squeeze.

Whats happening Luke!? has it been fired up for the first time yet?

 

The times this car is gona set are gonna be badazz. Your forgeting tht not all civic turbo's are 600bhp monsters. Im a member on some and most are around 400 500. These are the 1's that are either track/everyday cars (same as your car)Adding that your car is much lighter than a EG6 civic.

Your car will most probs handle better and should put up a good fight on the topspeed and 1/4 miles and probs win the handling whe the cars setup properly depending on your driving skill
