As you can see, pretty close.Don,t worry about the surface rust on the discs, that will be gone as soon as i,m tearing up the A ROADS. [/quote]

Collected 5mm spacers today and it turns out my rims ain,t going to fit after all (rim design) the spokes just sit too close to the caliper to the point that they constantly touch Yes i know i should have tried them on first, but were convinced they were going to fit. Will now have to purchase some MO,S as these seem to be the rims with the most clearence.Oh well am fucked until i get new rims

Look good quality, but 17mm is a big spacer, how much room will that leave you to your arches?????

A little change of plan for now.Have worked out that the COMPOMOTIVE MO,S i want are gonna take a bit of saving up for.(about 5-6 weeks.but am getting sick of it sitting in the garage while the sun is shining outside. So as i,d already sold my old cossie front brakes when i got my BREMBO,S i had to purchase these of E-BAY,so at least i can M.O.T ,TAX it and give it some stick.

A bargain at £50

Cheers RICH FRST,Kind words indeed.I got the BREMBO decals off E-BAY,£6 for 3 different sizes, the BELLS & ROTORS idea is a no no as the cost is about £350,so will just wait to get my COMPOMOTIVE MO,S.

As for what,s next? Get it back on the road in the next couple of weeks. The outside of the car is looking just how i want it,so might turn my attention to the interior.

Small up date, but not a happy one.M.O.T was booked for last monday,so the saturday before i arranged for the valeter at work to spend all saturday on it at work making it look as good as it should. Was on my way there (with trade plates on of course) when it started to splutter, like i was running out of petrol)glanced at guage and was on HALF.A few seconds later it come to a halt.Wouldn,t start .Rang the valeter and cancelled him then phoned the R.A.C......They came an hour later and said it wasn,t getting fuel out of the injectors and reckoned it was my fuel metering unit .O.k i,ll get one of them i said, now shall we get it on the low loader and you can take me home.......SORRY AS YOUV,E GOT TRADE PLATES ON ,IM, NOT ALOUD TO RECOVER YOU,GOODBYE.......WTF.So have to arrange to borrow the LOW LOADER from work and recover it myself.Anyway get it back home and do a bit of tinkering to sort the problem. No joy.To date iv,e changed the FUEL METERING UNIT,PRESSURE REGULAGTOR, E.M.P.A AND INJECTORS..Still don,t start,Have now orderd a FUEL PUMP from WOODFORD GARAGE.So hopefully will be sorted in time for NATIONAL DAY.The MO,S have been ordered and once fitted i can fit my BREMBO,S
