nice one Tuft!
Ross - Had a major set-back with the car. gonna be another 2 fookin weeks
fuckin compomotive said 3 weeks delivery.............now they decided to inform me that because of my offset and brakes they will have make a special offset to suit my needs.
so they piled another 14 days on the delivery date
thats a fucker really considering the gearbox is done and the only thing SCC are waiting for is the wheels so they can fit the manly front brakes!

looking very good there mate. just wish i cud get my ass into gear as fast as u have. i have a mini in my garage with the front end ripped off and all of the new panels screwed on to check they fit. Its been like that for the past year I might get around to doing it one day along with my cossie rebuild. The one that has taken priority no less is the cossie!!
Cheers

Cheers mate, been there done the Mini!! lol
That was one of the first cars i restoed/rebuild, i had it for about 3 years and never finished it, it was nearly done untill i took it down the road for a test drive and the 850cc engine was soooo slow an hour latter it was sitting in the corner of the garage!! lol
Never got round to fully fitting the 1275cc engine ended up selling it as a unfinished project for only Ł500, must have spent twice that much on it!!
Good luck with yours though mate

Atlast ive had some time to work on the little gem and have finally taken some more pics to show my progress, here goes:
This is the N/S with a thick polyester coating, polyester is like a spray filler and the best thing about it is it does not sink into the filler like primer does, the polyester has to be rubbed down then primer applied over the top of that.
The N/S again in polyester.
The rear seem all filled and polyestered.
The N/S door shut all repair after the accident damage.
A few more pics this one is showing the state of the engine bay, next on the list of the never ending jobs. lol
I think this is why the thing run like a sack o shi*e, my engine builder said water causes the white deposits, looks like the head gasket was packing its bags!!!
This weeks task is to get the O/S into polyester the same as the other side.
