Default My S1 Track Car is coming along nicely

Should be all ready by next weekend. Have got full roll cage coming, front and back polybushes, bucket seats, harnesses, lowering springs, konis and a few other bits. I am not putting any of the interior back and the engine has got about 190bhp.

I am also going to mot it for the road.

Should be fun

The bodykit should be going back on and the engine going in on Monday.

The roll cage I am going to have sprayed blue tomorrow....the konis are going on and everything else - the polybushes have been done. The bodykit should be going on tomorrow hopefully. Then it is in to the mot station, even though I have had it built it for the track I want it road legal.

Cheers

Garry

The roll cage is in but needs bolting in, the seats have got to be put in and then it is next door to the MOT station. Hopefully this will all be done tomorrow

I am going to be raising the bonnet at the back after the MOT and changing the back lights for clear ones.

Cheers

Yes it passed it's MOT Now all I have to do is add a few bits & bobs like a fire extinguisher, battery cut off switch, override for the fan......etc.... But I am taking her to Goodwood tomorrow afternoon as there is a track day on, I am not going on the track yet........unless there is a space when I get there!!!!

Nice one mate, looks wicked

Are you going to get the engine setup first before going on the track ?

Are you going to trailer it to the track or drive it ?

I hope to see ya on the track soon too, i'm gonna go either Brands or Goodwood for my first session

Hi Adam,

The engine is more or less set up anyway, but if I get the time I will take it to get a final check. It's got about 190bhp at the moment, but if I change the intercooler I can wind the boost up an get 220bhp easy, which is enough for the track I will be driving it to Goodwood as it is only 15 mins away from me at the most.

As for the trailer, I am going to wait and see how things go. Are you not gonna pop down to Goodwood tomorrow then?

Cheers

Garry

Awful wheels in my opinion for a Track car, you need something much more motorsport IMHO... But other than that I like it alot
