A bit of an update on the MK2
decided not to go with the the acid dipping as the bodyshop advised me that the car didnt need it so its been partly blasted instead
I allways thought it was quite a good shell to start with but didnt realise it was as good as it is considering its neary 30 years old
going away to the blasters
Back from the blasters
The doner roof for the roof swap
a few bits ive had cleaned up too
More pics to follow of the floor when the bodyshop get the car onto the spit

Well shes made it onto the spit and again i am very pleased with what i have seen , very little rot , a couple more places have appeared since being able to get it onto its side and being able to investigate further , but still nothing major by no means
Anyway a shit load more pics of of it now its on the spit

Mate that looks like perfection in the making!
i wish my mk2 looked as solid as that when i pulled mine apart....unfortunately not!
