wow man looking nice! I think your contributing well to the development of power on the LET, as most people tend to bottom out at 400hp on a LET on migweb, so it will be good to see the reliability of it running 550hp.....
Are u gonna let me drive this one too?

are u making a custom front subframe or buying one ?

I have bought an AMT frame, but sadly its not quite that simple as it requires a fair bit of modification now as im using a greabox that doesnt actually fit in it!
Will do another thread later on about the actual car though, sooner keep this one just about the engine itself ideally

But yes, with the TC turned off, i suspect it may struggle "a little" for grip

Have had a VERY significant change of heart now.
Have decided that its utterly fucking pointless putting this much power in a mini, im going to put a 200bhp XE with 150bhp of gas in it instead, will still be just the same speed up the quarter as this engine would have had the traction control on the whole way, LOL
So im going to put this engine in my mid engined nova instead now, where it will have plenty of traction

about bloody time. I would have thought a reasonably clever chap like you would have never even dreamed of putting 500bhp through a pair of front wheels (unless there is the same or more going through the back wheels aswell).
Another car (nova), i make that 5 in total. How BIG is you garage ??

Yeah i know what you mean, its when i started realising that 500bhp is a conservative estimate that i realised how pointless this project was, i only set out for 200bhp originally, but i got VERY carried away with the engine build!
Im now going back to 200bhp for the mini like i planned in the first place! (well, plus nitrous of course!)
Current cars i own mate:
Cossie (replica )
Road going mini
Mini cabrio
Integra type R (but its been gutted by theives )
Mondeo LPG
Alfa twinspark
Vauxhall engined mini project
Mid engined nova
Half a bmw 325i trackday car i share with mongo
So nearly double the 5 you guessed at, LOL
