little update for you folks...on niteshift this week so should get some work done on car.under neath is primered and stonegaurded.three coats of stoneguard and am gettin there.gona get some more stone guard for one more coat then its time to paint it black.woohoo.still not got ma parts from powder coaters 
heres some photos for yous..oh and engine is coming out this week so al be able to do a resto on the bay before the new heart goes in.a will crack that 300bhp mark if its the last thing a do

awrite folks.got loads going on with the car.didnt get ma 2.1 engine so am building ma own one 
started taking my engine out today.took off bonnet front brakes and started disconnecting electrical stuff in bay.am leaving the actual taking out of my engine to ma bro who likes changin engines.the car is gona be mint when am finished with it.doing a resto on the bay when the engines out.gona buy all components for the zetec build and leave it to the mechanic near me who is sh*t hot to build it up for me.
new full kit of poly bushes arrived
painting back calipers gold like fornt ones
am painting the petrol tank as powder coaters couldnt do it cos of plastic swirl pot.its just primered the now.paint it tommorrow
brother got a sly photo of me when i turned ma back.wel at least yous all know what a look like.aint a handsome......not

cheers folks.comments appriciated.wont get to work on the car next week cos of the shift at work which is crap went up to the car today and started painting underneath black.just got a few coats on.used about five cans of hammerite and it sooked it up.need loads more.all a need is more bolts and a can put the rear end back together 
got a blue and silver theme goin on.looks the part i think.painted the springs blue today and the struts siver aswel.
andy t..i nearly got ma engine but it fell threw so am building ma own.awready got a sump with oil return pipe welded in.block and that is on its way thnks to a fellow passionforder.
moondust.it was deflex bushes.bit cheaper than superflex but am sure they will do.a used a g clamp to insert stainless inserts.very easy
new braided brake lines,stainless fuel pump carrier and fuel pump are on there way.its gona look awesome when all back together and a just ordered ma fusion cage today

. Only jokin mate looks good. Like them brakes. youll need a set of harnesses to hold you in when stoppin!

yeh brakes look the business.just waiting on ma bolts and its ready to start bolting back together

awrite folks.no update on the car as a cant work on it till tommorow so just putting up some goodies that came threw.cage is ordered also bought modified zetec head and a modified zetec inlet manifold to modify with my rover inlet.

just read through the whole thing. excellent work mate, im takin everything off bottom of my car over next few weeks so am watchin this topic with interest.
were the rear brakes 2nd hand, but new? or is that the price they are new? i neeeed some of them on my car lol
