Most things can be made to fit anywhere, if you have money skill or patience

I'd guess it will, but obviously its not a drop in and away you go job

Would you be doing it yourself or getting someone to do it ?

Hi,

I've seen it done once before to a mk6 escort (95-2000).

A large section of the slam panel had to be chopped out to fit it.

I'd advise a 2L zetec transplant. Mine (standard) recorded a 15.7 @ Santa Pod yesterday.

If you want more serious performance, then a 2.3 converted RS2000, or a zetec turbo are the ways forward.

Ralph.
