PassionFord Post Whore!!
I want one!
That looks ace Marco.
How've you mounted the seats as they're side mounted, are they bolted to the floor using side mounts? or have you made something up for them to slide?
Cheers.

hi mate
good question and the answer to that is i haven't had any problems so far , but it wouldn't be a bad idea that is something i am looking at later on in the yr
yes im am at donnington and i am in beginners group because
1, my mates are in expert group so i can go out with them
2,i dont want to hold up anyone
the engine /exhaust/air fiter/egt/gearbox still remains standard so it's basically standard except for brakes/chassis mods/suspension
it's not a bad car to be honest just need setting up now thats all
i will upgrade power when i have finshed the handling (power isn't everything ) it's whole package that makes a good car and a decent driver
cheers Marco

the Rl7 look the best by far i personally think they are the best looking rally/motorsport wheel to this day , although they dont make them any more
the only thing with them after a few yrs the spokes crack that was there down fall , they did make the rl7 mk II's but they looked shite compaired to these
i'm doing a bit of work on it today im finally fitting the front suspension
ill post some more pics later on in the evening

hi mate
thanks to be honest if theres 2 things that you really need on track is proper brakes and proper suspension theres no subsitute
i could have went a alot cheaper route on the brakes and suspension but in the long run none would last as good as these
i only want to spend money once not twice or 3 times on the same things
so i save up for the stuff i want ok it takes longer but when it's on the car it's on there and it's job done

Marco, will you be running a standard anti roll bar too? Sorry about all the question but I hope to get a set of slicks for the odd track day soon and wondering about the body roll you get. Have seen a few cars running almost standard suspension on slicks and they look like double decker buses.
Forgot to say, looks mint. Best of luck

i still have the standard anti roll bar but as you can see in the pics they have been shortend
and yes of course your going to get loads of body roll with the slicks on standard suspension
atleast the last few times i went out on track i had decent rear suspesion which was a big help
the front wont move now at all !! as these inserts are 500/200 good quality Bilsteins with 600lbs x10.5 " springs no helper springs
