Check the top left corner of the black fuse box and you'll see it's hinged so it folds out to get access to the other fuse box.
There are more wires going from inside to outside through the wheel arch so you end up with less wires passing through the arch.
Note brown and grey connectors on the floor, they are normally through the arch.

What a perfect solution!!! i have a complete cosworth floor and bulkhead fitted in my focus so ill need to pass the focus loom through the cosworth bulk head , should be pretty straight forward...... might need to extent some of the loom so that the connectors for the lights etc etc actually do reach!?
Made a start on the wiring today , so first things first i thought id tidy up the ABS brake loom . I cut out all the unwanted bits ( 4x ABS sensors and the ABS light) then i pulled the power supply wires back through the bulkhead grommet as the power feed will now come from under the dash.
Next step is to modify the standard focus fuse box loom so it also passes through the ABS brake loom grommet in the bulkhead so i can relocate the fusebox under the dash..........

Dont forget to check the strock when you put ut on the car as when i did my wiper it went off the window pillar so please please remember this as it will trash your paint job in one hit . And all so remember you have to re time the arm on the motor

Thanks Coley
Oh dont worry ill be trying it very very manually and carefully a number of times before i hook it up to the electric!
Which were the pin numbers that you have to live up to make the motor work and park again Ian i think that would be of some use to people doing the mod

I will go and sort this out for you DAVE as it one of the things i never put on my post about doing this
Fitted the modded wiper mechanism tonight and suprisingly WITHOUT having to shorten the wiper motor arm . i simply adjusted the amount of "throw" i need on its splines instead of cutting the motor arm. Heres the results.....
And in the rest position.....
Couldnt resist trying the MK2 wheel..... hmmm ????
