Default 2.0 ltr engine

hi,
just wondering if any one can tell me if it is possible to fit a 2.0 16v engine into a mk3 fiesta,

also which is better the 2.0 16v DOHC or the 2.0 16v ZETEC lump

Depending on which Fiesta depends on how much work is involved in fitting it.

A base model 1.1 with a xflow in it will need more work than one with a CVH, and then the 1.8 XR2i's came with Zetec's to begin with.

I take it you mean the RS2000 I4? Yeah it's a good engine, but limited tuning capability, so better going for the zetec and the zetec is alot more common as well

The I4 is a better engine to start with - 150bhp and 145 lb/ft. Chip, cam, exhaust and panel filter should see around 170 bhp. Then you can go management and throttle bodies for around 200bhp, then you can go high comp etc for around 240 bhp NA.

my fiesta is a 1.3 8v mk3 3 1994,

was thinking about the 2.0 16v from a mondeo but if the rs2000 I4 engine is better i will try get hold of one of those,(whats the I4 stand for?) cheers guys,

and more advise will be gratefully recievied, i dont no alot about this so anything would be helpful
