My scooby up for sale like, getting a Golf
Brashy said it wont be long and you'll have the car all sorted i.e sprayed

beefy-rst-2 cheers bud, be nice to have it built up and on the streets of the north east... roll on next year
finished the stainless steel rose jointed parallel arms today, so i can do away with the rear wishbones
im just waiting on some left hand thread nuts being delivered to me for the left hand thread rose joints on one end of the parallel arms.
might take them back into work to get some flats machined onto them so you can adjust them with a spanner instead of stillsons/pump pliers.
anyway heres a pic of them

Your company must have ripped you then, most policys now let you drive another car third party only when your 21 and covered at least TPFT, I'm only TPFT on the Corsa and can drive any car I want aslong as its MOT'd, TAX'd and Insured by the owner and I have there permission to drive it, I'm with Swinton on Westoe, been with them 2years now and soon as your 21 and aslong as your TPFT you can drive anything thats why I'm always borrowing people's cars , there good aswell, price wise.

cheers for the reading effort arkley
CraigW wont be too long til its all painted, just got a few bits to do to the shell and then its prep work ready for paint
The Usual Suspect thanks still waiting for the left hand thread nuts tho
EvilFranky i know, its taking ages innit, dying to pop over n take you for a spin
as for the tpf&t insurance thing, i agree with franky, its policy dependant, all policies offer different things, hence why theyre all different prices etc.

cheers tony dont blame me for you getting wrong off your lass tho, she'd only tell you off for something else if my thread wasnt here
Had a bit play with the dash tonight. As im not having the blowers or heater matrix in the car anymore, i think im going to have my gauges where the heater controls used to be like this
and i might also chop off the bottom half of the dash frombelow the red line

danny_boy699 the shells not progressed since the last pictures really, will do soon tho (i keep on saying that mind )
tonypastie shame i didnt know that earlier, but like chav said its a bit late now
heres my latest update anyhow, these bad boys turned up in the post today been waiting ages, finally there here
they weigh 6.9kg so thats about 10kg lighter per seat over standard
they also have space for the 5th or 6th harness strap if i decide to go for more than 4 points.

glad you lot like the seats as much as me ive been sitting in them again tonight after work
not actually tried the dash in the car yet, its going to need about 60mm cutting off each end, and like you say a few brackets knocking up to support it, they should be pretty simple to fabricate tho
if you dont use the RS dash you thinking of having something like the Dubsports mk3 Golf dash?
