MK2 focus engine swap help
Hi, i'm new to this site and would apprieciate some advise regarding a new engine for my 2005 focus.
currently it has the 1.6 sigma in it, i'd be happy with a light 1.6 turbo but i'm aware the sigmas can't handle it.
1.6 ecoboost? no because of the bad build quality, the block made from poor quality aluminium and the direct injection.
I basically want to keep my car as i've put a lot of time and money into sorting it and now i want to put a better engine in it rather than buy an st i want a 4 cylinder turbo,
so, 2.0 duratec st150 with turbo as it fits to the ib5 gearbox? or 1.8 blacktop with turbo?
just looking for some budget boost, i'd be happy with a reliable 200-220bhp
thanks
